 The coverage area of a MRCOOL Hyper Heat 2nd Gen central ducted system depends on the BTU capacity of the unit. Generally, systems range from 18,000 BTU (up to 750 sq ft) to 60,000 BTU (up to 2,500 sq ft). Here's a breakdown by BTU: 

  • 18,000 BTU: Up to 750 sq ft. (not available in Hyper Heat 2nd Gen Series)
  • 24,000 BTU: Up to 1,000 sq ft.
  • 30,000 BTU: Up to 1,250 sq ft.
  • 36,000 BTU: Up to 1,500 sq ft.
  • 48,000 BTU: Up to 2,000 sq ft.
  • 60,000 BTU: Up to 2,500 sq ft.
